For many of us, the Aion honeymoon is over. Good friends have quit, switched servers, switched factions, aren't able to log on as much, or moved on to greener pastures in some other way. For me, this has never really been an issue... I love the game and plan to stay for quite a while, bots, grinding, and cliques be damned.
However, with so many people quitting, and now Kyriel re-rolling Asmodian after being the reason I went Elyos, I'm uncertain if I'm going to be staying here in the light, or if I should go over to the dark side (aka Asmodae). I've made new friends, roleplayed the hell out of my main, and leveled one of the most annoying classes in the history of ever, yet the temptation to play with other friends is great.
Nonetheless, I love Elysea. I love every single thing about it, dammit, even if I was skeptical about rolling Elyos in the first place. I love the forests, the deserts, the arrogant NPCs, the stupidly named animals, the glowing swamps that make Am's eye look creepy as hell. Everything. Regardless of what I choose (I've been deliberating for -days- and am no closer to a decision), I felt it appropriate to share part of what has made my Aioning so far so amazingly memorable; Elysea's gorgeous scenery. Making a tribute to all the wonderful people I've met would be much harder, anyway.

Sanctum is a gorgeous city. While in many ways, Pandaemonium is better (layout, for one, and I think it's beautiful too), I've come to love this city of many deaths.

This canal has been the death of me many a time.

If you look in the trees, you can see a dinosaur grazing.

There he is!

This is at a spring in Eltnen, I believe.

More of the spring.

An adorable family of wargs in Eiron Desert, Eltnen.

Miraju Holy Grounds, Verteron. This shrine to Kaisinel is glowing for some reason, which makes eyes - and wings - look awesome.

The Holy Grounds from the outside.

Verteron, flying either to or from the Holy Grounds. This is an area you can't really get to any other way, though I think you can jump down. Better make sure your Return's available if you do, though!

Verteron, the road to the Holy Grounds from Tolbas Village.

Same area of Verteron.

Right outside Verteron Citadel, overlooking the swamp.

Chilling in Poeta on my cleric, Kallias.

The eyeless bird transport in Poeta.

It rains a lot in Elysea.

More Poeta, who knew? I love waterfalls, if you can't tell.

Overgrown fungus in Poeta.

Poeta shot taken way back in open beta.

The little bouncing things on Poeta's trees are absolutely adorable.
I might have more later, but for now, enjoy! <3
