I'm looking forward to seeing the mane/wings when you're done with them. I know noctum and I are thinking about making asmodian cosplays for our sci fi con next year. We were thinking of dressing as our characters. xD so I need ideas for the manes/wings and claws. Not sure if I want to try to mold claws from plastic or sew them into gloves. Such hard choices.

Some more updates. the top picture is tabbie half dressed as the urban version of his main Edisu.
The wings and mane are all 100% crafted by me. I hand sewed the mane and hot glued a long white wig i original had for cosplay for the tails. R.I.P pretty long white wig, lol

the wings took me the longest. about 2 days on an off. i created the frame by hand with metal wires... many metal wires i wrapped around a single wite to strengthen it. using a multitude of black feathers (i literally bought out joanne fabrics feathers and faux fur... i went back yesterday to get the right size glue an their fur an feathers were still out of stock because of me, haha). I only got on shiita to run FT once but that's all i had time for because of working on all of this.

The second photo is of two necklaces i made of or shaped shells and feathers. just an adlibed necklace for fun, haha. a picture of claws later. i took the pic but it hasn't shown up in my email yet... *waits*

it is. i've owned a long white wig for a few years now, it deserved retirement so i destroyed it in order to create the tail end of the manes.

... tab's trying to pose with his new claws all over my head as i type this.... lol
he's trying to claw control me!

anyway on-topic still waitin for the claw pic to come through so i can post it up. it's the typical origami claw design. I was using cardstock paper and going to resin is a few layers an harden it to make it almost liek a hard plastic material, but i ran out of time so am just sticking to the basic claw origami with a rubbed in grey paint, with white gloves glued inside each so they don't fall off.

it's difficult manipulating with such long claws, but it's still fun and cool looking, haha.

OK back from otakon. the lines totally sucked. being an asmodian saturday in downtown baltimore BLEW. wearing a lot of black with thick furbacks when there was a fire alarm an needing to stand out in the middle of such a hot day, sucked balls. besides that we got to go to a few panels showing animes or a gesture and posture drawing panel that tabbie wanted to do, was pretty nice, the convention center had a relly awesome airconditioning unit so it was loverly inside. haha. got to go to the rave for a little bit afterwards, but by that time my feet were KILLING be from the high heels i wore. i don't know how girls can wear those for so long. I could barely stand being in them for 7-8 hours.
tabbie wanted to get some music but they closed the dealers room at 7pm :/
i did get a kickass top hat though, part of my in-game main's wardrobe (she wears a fur worg hat)

my feet still hurt ;3; but it was a good day. obviously a lot of people didn't know what we were from since aion isn't all that popular, but I would hope that we got just a little advertising going when a few people would ask us what we were from. regardless i liked being an asmodian for the day... though tabbie kept calling the pretty fairy cosplayers elyos scum. :/ was a little funny, but i'm like "hon don't call them that, it's rude an they don't know what you're talking about" lol. one guy played along with it though, tab went "i'm taking this picture for future reference so i can hunt down an kill you and your family and friends" and the guy goes "it's ok i already did that" XDD

Ahaha thats awesome. It would be interesting to see if people recognized us when we go to our sci-fi/anime cons next year. I'm kinda looking forward to my asmodian cosplay now :3
